Blond Roast made her second start a winning one for breeder and owner Mt. Brilliant Farm/Stable at Colonial Downs on August 28th. After a gutsy first start at Delaware Park where she was just missed, Blond Roast sat a perfect stalking trip under Paco Lopez, rallied inside the pacesetter and prevailed as the favorite. Blond Roast was the first of two winners on the card for the acclaimed trainer, Michael Stidham.
